The Port of Algoma in Sault Ste. Marie is in the early stages of a redevelopment process. The Port’s redevelopment will include, providing a modern port with efficient dock space, appropriate loading and off loading zones, storage facilities, trans-shipment and goods processing facilities. The timeline for the panning project is fall of 2015, which will be considering the economic demand and the business opportunities for the port, including traffic and technical studies.
