Ontario Minister of Transportation Steven Del Duca has accepted an invitation to attend the Chairman’s Reception at the 88th annual OTA convention.

This minister will be providing remarks and mingling with attendees throughout the evening. This is your chance to discuss recent initiatives or any other hot topic on your mind with the minister – such as mandatory entry level training, the B-train extension, mandatory ELDs, roll stability technology or LCV permits.

The reception takes place at the Ritz Carlton in Toronto on Wednesday November 12, between 5:30 pm – 7:30 pm.

The full convention runs from Wed. Nov. 12 to Thurs. Nov. 13. It’s jam packed with a business agenda and speaker lineup that’s informative and stimulating. The founders of 1-800-GOT-JUNK and chair of Lakeport Brewing tell their stories about extreme competition and surviving tough times; the Internet’s top rated futurist shares his transportation vision of the future, and a medal-winning fighter pilot will motivate and inspire.

The conference will be capped by the always-unforgettable awards dinner, where this year’s brightest industry stars are honoured.

And don’t forget about the immensely popular Next Generation program, where up-and-coming managers and future leaders can network and discuss the issues that are important to them.
