Trucks for Change Network is now accepting applications for its first ever “True Service” Humanitarian Bursary Award. This bursary in the amount of five hundred dollars will be awarded to a deserving Canadian trucking industry employee or family member, to help offset costs incurred for humanitarian travel, charity volunteering, or establishing a new charitable project.
Pete Dalmazzi of Trucks For Change Network (T4C) explained that the True Service bursary was established in memory of Ewing McMeekin, a long-time employee of Kal Tire and an active supporter of T4C’s charity work, who passed away in 2016.
Carriers and allied trades are encouraged to share the news of this bursary with all employees.
More information and an application can be found at T4C True Service Bursary Application . Trucks for Change Network is a non-profit network of carriers and allied trades supporting charities and helping Canadians in need.
