The Ministry of Transportation is advising that Highway 17A will be intermittently closed to traffic during hours from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. (CT) starting on Tuesday, October 20 to Thursday, October 22. The motoring public can expect up to 30 minute delays.
These temporary closures are required to ensure the safety of road users and workers while work is being completed to replace overhead sign structures.
Traffic will be controlled by flagging operations.
Drivers are reminded to obey and follow all traffic signage and flag persons for the safety of both workers and drivers.
For the latest information on highway closures, the public can call 511, MTO’s Road Information Line or check www.ontario.ca/511.
