MTO says work will begin on Highway 417 to construct a new Nicholas Street Bridge, asphalt resurfacing and to convert existing Transit Priority Lanes on Highway 417 mainline / ramps / intersections to general use lanes in Ottawa.
Construction activities are scheduled to begin on April 23, 2019. The construction will be staged over this time, work areas will change as operations are initiated and completed. Completion will be fall 2020
