SLH Asks for Industry Support for Two Fallen Truckers

SLH Transport will be organizing a series of events next week to raise support for the families of two company owner-operators who tragically died in a crash near Thunder Bay last week.

SLH Owner-Operator team, Ranbir Sandhawalia and Majid Moazam-Babasheikhali, were killed the morning of June 11 after an oncoming vehicle hit their truck.

Ranbir leaves behind a wife and a two year old son and Majid leaves behind a sister.

“Both drivers will be deeply missed and our condolences go out to the families at this time,” the company says.

SLH Transport will be hosting a benefit BBQ at seven locations across Canada to remember the drivers and to raise money in support of both families through this difficult time. Donations will be accepted and all proceeds raised will be shared between both families.

SLH is encouraging all carrier members belonging to the Ontario Trucking Association and the Canadian Trucking Alliance to show their support by having staff attend one of the company’s events.  Dates, times and locations are provided below:
