Joseph K. Joseph, the founder of Joseph K. Joseph Haulage (Joseph Haulage Canada Corp. today) passed away on Tuesday March 3rd, 2020. He was 79 and was surrounded by his loving family at the time of his passing. Joseph was diagnosed with Multiple Myeloma in July of 2017 and fought a strong battle with the disease that ultimately took his life.

Joseph was deeply loved by his family, which included his three children and six grandchildren, and many more family members spread throughout the globe. Joseph was predeceased by his wife Thresia.

Joseph came to Canada from Kerala, India with the hopes for a better life for his family. He was an extraordinarily smart and accomplished entrepreneur who built a company that still represents and practices the same principles he used to build and drive the business 45 years ago. In 2008, Joseph retired from the business to take care of his wife, who was diagnosed with cancer.

The entire Joseph Haulage Family is deeply saddened by this news and will forever keep Joseph in our hearts and memories.

“My dad will truly be missed by our family and by his work family. His unwavering work ethic laid the foundation to this business and build it to what it is today. I cannot thank him enough for everything he has done for our family,” says Geoffrey Joseph, President & CEO of Joseph Haulage Canada Corp., and Joseph’s youngest child.
