Calling all young professionals in the trucking industry! School is almost back in session. OTA’s hit Next Generation program, and back for 2022, the OTA-SEEC Business Leaders program are open for registration. But hurry! time is limited – the in-person Next Generation program kicks off in June, and OTA-SEEC in early May, register early to reserve your spot!
The intent of the Next Generation certificate program is to strengthen a leader’s ability to communicate effectively and inspire action in others they work with. The program has served as a valuable platform for young professionals in the industry to connect and build relationships, network, and meet other likeminded individuals while learning valuable tools to improve their leadership communication skills.
All registrants in the Next Generation program must be OTA members in good standing. Members can click to register now to join the program.
OTA will once again be offering a virtual format of the program, which was introduced in 2021. This condensed format is aimed at individuals wanting to better integrate their leadership goals within their busy workday; or are from companies with operations outside the province and who would like to take part in this unique industry program.
OTA-SEEC Business Leaders program, in partnership with the Schulich Executive Education Centre (SEEC) at York University, is back for 2022. It focuses on the theme of innovation, with the intention of creating an innovative mindset within leaders and using that experience to drive innovation in the workplace.
All participants in the OTA-SEEC Leaders Certificate program must be graduates of the Next Generation Certificate program to register.
Eligible members can register at a cost of $1,925 for the in-person Next Generation Program. The virtual Next Generation program is available for $1,350. For more information on both programs, including program delivery and content, click here.
