The Ministry of Transportation (MTO) will be hosting information sessions on the Green Commercial Vehicle Program in partnership with the Ontario Trucking Association (OTA) on Monday September 25 and Friday September 29 from 1:00pm-2:00pm at the OTA offices in Etobicoke, ON.

Last week, MTO announced the release of the draft guide for the Green Commercial Vehicle program (GCVP) that will encourage businesses to purchase alternative fuel vehicles and fuel-saving technologies, including electric and natural gas-powered trucks, aerodynamic devices, anti-idling devices and trailer refrigeration units.

The posting is available for public review and comment until October 6, 2017. The Ministry of Transportation is seeking feedback on the proposed program design and eligibility criteria, application and funding process, data collection requirements and potential for future innovation pilots.

Space is limited, please RSVP to GCVP@ontario.ca if you plan to attend either session, or contact lak.shoan@184.107.41.74 for more information.
