OTA continues to work with the Ministry of Transportation (MTO) as part of their Northern Ontario Multi-Modal Transportation Strategy (NOMTS) to provide input on short, medium and long term Infrastructure Planning and Operations to support the trucking industry.
Focus will be on highway planning/maintenance, rest stops, bridges and border crossings in Northeastern and Northwestern Ontario from the Manitoba to Quebec border and with all linkages to Southern/Eastern Ontario.
