OTA President Stephen Laskowski and VP of Comms Marco Beghetto started off the week doing 8 CBC Radio interviews to discuss the report and how Driver Inc was the focus of TRAN committee hearings in Ottawa early this year.

Sara Mojtehedzadeh, the lead author of the investigation, was also on CTV’s This Morning to discuss her investigation says these issues stem from full-time employed truckers being seen as self-employed. OTA was interviewed extensively for the piece. Her remarks on CTV echoed many of the concerns and warnings OTA has been raising a decade about how Driver Inc leads to widespread tax fraud and labour/immigration abuse. Watch it here
