The Ministry of Transportation advises the motoring public that Highway 72 will be temporarily reduced to single lane traffic at the Pelican River Bridge in Sioux Lookout.
Traffic is being controlled by temporary traffic signal operations and traffic delays can be expected. We apologize for the inconvenience and urge motorists to schedule their travel to minimize any delays
These temporary lane restrictions are required to ensure the safety of road users and workers while reconstruction of the Pelican River Bridge is completed. Traffic will be maintained on one lane throughout the duration of the work, which is expected to be complete fall of 2015.
Motorists are reminded to obey and follow all traffic signage and flag persons for the safety of both workers and drivers.
