Minister Caroline Mulroney celebrated the trucking industry and honoured the hard-working men and women who keep the economy moving.
Mulroney visited the team at XTL Transport in Toronto and met with members of the senior executive team at XTL, Serge Gagnon, Craig Germain, Lorraine Koehler and Sukhy Hayre.
‘We would like to thank Minister Mulroney for visiting our terminal. We had a great discussion about the important infrastructure projects she and the Government of Ontario are championing, like Highway 413 and the Bradford Bypass. Minister Mulroney also continues to show great leadership on the need to identify locations for future rest areas for truck drivers,” said Craig Germain, Chief Operating Officer, XTL.
The minister toured the XTL operation, learning about the roots of XTL. She also spoke with employees from every aspect of the operations, including staff that have taken OTA’s Next Generation Program.
“Minister Mulroney has shown a great passion and desire to assist our sector and its workforce. Our industry could not have a better champion around the cabinet table,” said OTA President and CEO Stephen Laskowski.
