Highway 401 between Mississauga’s Credit River to Regional Road 25 in Milton will be widened, MTO announced.
High Occupancy Vehicle Lanes are being added in each direction. The existing six lanes will be changed to 12 lanes from the Credit River to Winston Churchill Boulevard, 10 lanes from Winston Churchill to the interchange of Highway 407 and 401, 12 lanes from that interchange to the James Snow Parkway, and 10 lanes from that point to Regional Road 25.
