The Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration (FMCSA) is set to introduce its final rule for ELDs in the fall of 2015. It is expected the rule will take effect two years following the official notice. Currently, two Canadian government agencies – Transport Canada and the Ontario Ministry of Transportation – have committed political support to introducing an ELD rule in Canada.
On October 28, 2015 The Ontario Trucking Association (OTA) in association with the Canadian Trucking Alliance (CTA) will be hosting an information session for interested carriers focused on:
