ESDC has created two posters to inform employees and employers of their rights and obligations in regards to classifying workers properly as employees.
ESDC’s Misclassification Team in various regions are working to have these distributed broadly, including rest stops and weigh stations.
The posters aim to capture the attention of both employers and employees by providing brief notes on misclassification; and connect through a QR code to detailed information on misclassification and how to report it; as well as a recently published Misclassification in the Road Transportation Industry: Awareness Kit.
