MTO has announced a project involving the preliminary design for the rehabilitation and / or replacement of 23 bridges on the Ottawa Queensway from Holland Avenue to O’Connor Street in the urban core of Ottawa. The 12 sites and the associated Study Area are presented below.
Several alternatives will be reviewed for each bridge including structural and construction staging options in order to minimize disruption on the Queensway. The first of two public information centres which will introduce the project, and explain possible options will be held May 22, 2014 from 4-8 pm, at St. Anthony’s banquet Hall at 523 St. Anthony Street, Ottawa.
