Cross Border Delays at Michigan Crossings & ArriveCan APP Updates

Share

As OTA reported this week, CBSA at the Ambassador and Blue Water crossings started to collect personal information from all international travellers returning from the US including commercial drivers. Delays were expected this weekend at these crossings, just as they occurred at other US-Canada crossings when they rolled out this information collection program. Unfortunately, delays are occurring — reports of 2-hour delays are coming in as of last evening.

Drivers have also reported problems with the verification field of the ArriveCan App — please consider sending a note to drivers to ensure that they have version 2.0.25 ArriveCan APP, as this update addressed the verification field issue.  Commercial drivers are remined to make sure they are updating this APP religiously for bug fixes.

OTA is also reminding drivers nothing has changed with regards to quarantine policies and essential workers
