Due to a festival in Perth this weekend, OTA has been notified that an alternate route will be in effect for trucks during the evening of April 25 as well as all day April 26.
The route in effect is as follows:.
- From Highway #7 & Wilson…proceed along Wilson to North Street and turn left
- To go to Ottawa, take North Street right out of town to Franktown (at Highway #15)
- To go to Smiths Falls, take North Street to Sherbrooke Street and turn right
- Follow Sherbrooke Highway #43 signs…you can proceed into Perth from #43 (Craig Street) by turning right or to Smiths Falls by turning left
There will be detour signs posted to assist with this adjustment.
