U.S. Customs and Border Protection (CBP) has published a Federal Register notice announcing that it is adjusting certain customs user fees and corresponding limitations established by the Consolidated Omnibus Budget Reconciliation Act (COBRA) for Fiscal Year 2026.
Based on the notice, the 2026 adjusted Commercial Truck Arrival Fee will be $7.35 (currently $7.20) and the 2026 adjusted Commercial Truck Calendar Year Prepayment Fee will $134.33 (currently $130.85) starting October 1, 2025.
The Commercial Truck Calendar Year Prepayment Fee and the Commercial Truck Arrival Fee are both the CBP fees only; it does not include the fiscal year 2026 AQI Commercial Truck with Transponder Fee ($808.20) or the AQI User Fee ($13.45) that are collected by CBP on behalf of APHIS.
This means that starting fiscal year 2026, the total Single Crossing Fee for Commercial Trucks will be $20.80, and the total Transponder Annual Fee for Commercial Trucks will be $942.53. All fees are in USD.
