As part of its extensive pre-budget submission to the Government of Canada earlier this month, the Canadian Trucking Alliance (CTA) highlighted the need to invest in border infrastructure, technology and staffing, which are needed to meet the needs of the rapidly evolving, 24/7 supply chain.

CTA received a news release from the federal transport minister, minister of infrastructure for the northwest territories and the Council of Ministers Responsible for Transportation and Highway Safety stating that supply chain investments are a top priority and that the overall safety and environmental fitness of the sector needs continued improvement.
