Sections of the Conestoga Parkway in Kitchener-Waterloo will be closed overnight until the end of August for paving work.
The work, affecting Krug Street in Kitchener and King Street in Waterloo, will occur mainly on weeknights between 9 p.m. and 6 a.m. Some single lane closures will also take place during the day, says MTO.
MTO says the paving is planned in sections between adjacent interchanges to permit local detours on city streets for nighttime drivers.
The road paving is expected to be complete August 29, however some area bridge rehabilitation included in the $32.3-million project will continue until November.
