The Organ Project Foundation is hoping to end the waitlist for organ transplants by generating awareness about organ donation with the help of Canadian business leaders.
Organizers are looking to the trucking industry for help by joining other executives and business leaders on Friday, March 31, 2017 for an exciting fundraising gala featuring Carrie Underwood at the Fairmont Royal York in Toronto. The evening will host some of Canada’s top business influencers, politicians, and philanthropists alike. The entertainment will be first class, but the true stars of the evening will be donors, recipients, and donor families, says the Organ Project.
Eugene Melynk, who owns the Ottawa Senators is one of the founders of the Organ Donation Foundation. Eugene received an organ transplant which allowed him to carry on with his life. Since establishing the organization, he works to encourage Canadians to support the cause.
