Monte McNaughton, Ontario Minister of Labour, Immigration, Training and Skills Development announced an additional $3 million to support local organizations working to help Ukrainian refugees arriving in Ontario.

These incredible organizations are providing settlement services, housing, employment services and mental health resources.

The latest investment builds on previous initiatives  already done to support Ukrainians fleeing the war to find jobs and access health care, income support and education. This includes funding for the Canadian Ukrainian Immigrant Aid Society, waiving OHIP eligibility requirements and K-12 tuition fees and, introducing a dedicated jobs hotline (1.888.562.4769) and email address (ukrainianjobs@ontario.ca) to connect new arrivals with jobs here in Ontario.
