This guide provides practical insight into the trucking industry in India, Ireland, Italy, Mexico, the Philippines, Poland, the Republic of Korea, Romania, Russia, the Ukraine and the United Kingdom. Each country is described in terms of the driving environment, including a description of the terrain and climate, commercial vehicle types that are commonly used, typical driver responsibilities, licensing and training standards, and regulations, amongst a host of other information.
The goal of the reference is to help carriers to better review applications from newcomers to Canada, to help find those who might have the right background and skills to make them a successful professional truck driver in Canada.
