OTA was informed by the Ministry of Transportation (MTO) that additional online services for the International Registration Plan (IRP) will be available starting October 30, 2017.
MTO’s online services are free, simple, quick and available 24 hours a day / 7 days a week.
The following transactions will be added for online users by the end of the month:
- Add Vehicle
- Replace Vehicle
- Amend Vehicle with Fees
- Amend Vehicle without Fees
Existing online users will be informed of the additional services by email from MTO and other carriers not yet participating online will be sent a notification letter with their renewal package.
The latest upgrades will be added to MTO’s system already capable of addressing renewals, plate replacements, cab card replacements and replacing validation tags.
