OTA received the following note from the Ministry of Transportation this morning. OTA members are encouraged to submit their names to assist with MTO’s latest research.
The Ministry of Transportation is committed to making life better for the commercial vehicle industry, by moving to a “digital first and lean always” approach to all commercial vehicle products and services. The first step towards success is improving the end-user experience for our clients.
As you are likely aware, Ontario has recently taken measures to provide simpler, faster and better online services through the launch of CVOR Online Renewal service (April 5, 2020) and technology enhancements to allow for the online automatic issuance of Oversize/Overweight Annual Permits (July 5, 2020).
Our ministry continues to digitally transform our products and services and to be successful – we need your help:
- Over the next 12 months we will be conducting periodic and ongoing end-user research and testing to ensure we design our digital products and services to meet client needs. If you are interested in volunteering to provide user feedback now or in the future, please complete our short survey.
- Additionally, we have recently reached out to industry regarding user research for our Online Carrier Record project and now have an immediate need for volunteers (mix of small/medium/large commercial vehicle clients, insurance companies and service providers) to provide user research regarding various commercial vehicle products and services between January 25, 2021 and March 15, 2021.
-
- In order to be considered to provide feedback for this specific project, please complete your survey by February 5, 2021.
- Spaces for user research will fill up fast, and accordingly we recommend you complete your survey at your earliest convenience to be considered.
