It was August 1989 when Kim Richardson Transportation Specialists Inc. (KRTS, Inc.) enrolled its first client in their AZ program. Since then, it has helped 9,000 customers receive their AZ or DZ licence.
“When I reflect on the history of our business and what our team has accomplished over the years I am very proud and thankful for their efforts,” said Kim Richardson, President of KRTS, Inc.
The Caledonia-Ont.-based company started with a card table and phone in the Richardson household 25 years ago. Today, KRTS, which is a member of the Ontario Trucking Association Allied Trades division, provides a full suite of training services including truck driver training, dispatch certification and testing, heavy equipment certification and online education.
Today, Kim and Lisa’s children, Matt Richardson and Jamie Richardson-Philips are involved with the business.
