Transport Canada has engaged the transportation consulting firm CPCS to conduct a national study on how trucking companies, fleet operators, and independent owner-operators finance their truck purchases.
The study will help the Federal Government understand how to improve access to cost-effective financing for medium- and heavy-duty vehicles. The study focuses on differences in financing costs and options between internal combustion and zero-emission trucks.
To inform the study, CPCS is interviewing stakeholders across Canada. You may be contacted directly by CPCS for a short interview.
If you would like to express interest in participating, please contact the CPCS Project Lead: Michael Kennedy (mkennedy@cpcs.ca)
Your insights will help ensure federal decisions reflect the realities of Canada’s trucking sector.
