In association with the Canadian Trucking Alliance (CTA), the Service Canada Temporary Foreign Worker Program compliance directorate will be hosting an information session for trucking companies interested in learning more about program compliance responsibilities. Whether you are already using the Temporary Foreign Worker program, or are interested in understanding what is involved, we encourage member companies to take the opportunity to hear more from the program’s compliance directorate. Included in this, will be an overview of the new Recognized Employer Pilot (REP) and other recent program changes.

The session will cover:
- Service Canada’s role in program compliance
- An overview of the inspection process and employer responsibilities
- An overview of the regulatory changes made September 26, 2022
- Common non-compliance in the program and the trucking industry
- Overview of the Recognized Employer Pilot (REP)
The presentation will last roughly 30 minutes and will be followed by a question and answer period for participants to ask questions about program compliance, the inspection process and any other questions they may have.
