The NYS Thruway Authority is advising the commercial trucking industry that it is closing Buffalo Ave. in Niagara Falls, NY on Sept. 23 for 4-6 weeks as well as the ramps off the 190 northbound & southbound to Buffalo Ave. and the ramps from Buffalo Ave to the 190 both ways.
The ramps from the Robert Moses to the NB & SB 190 will all will be closed from Sept. 23 to October 31. The posted detours are found below.
The contractor will also replace the NB 190 Bridge on the Sept. 25 to Sept. 28 weekend and the SB 190 Bridge on the October 2-5 weekend using a two- lane diversion.
The 190 could have short delays but will remain open during the entire time.
