This a follow up note to earlier communications, reminding carriers that MTO has notified industry members that previously granted extensions will not be extended past June 30, 2025.
Carriers with renewals from March through June who have yet to renew are strongly encouraged to review the details from MTO in full.

No further IRP registration extensions will be provided.
That MTO is encouraging all IRP registered carriers with renewals that expire between March 31, 2025, and June 30, 2025, that have not yet renewed to submit their renewal applications as soon as possible. All IRP applications are now being processed within the service commitments posted at International Registration Plan | ontario.ca.
MTO provides a number of options for renewal applications. Carriers can submit their IRP renewal applications to Service Ontario IRP Processingvia the following channels:

Carriers currently experiencing issues outside of IRP service commitment timelines as renewals are completed or unusual circumstances are asked to email operations_safety@ontruck.org with details. Please include your IRP Account #, type of transaction (e.g. fleet renewal, add new vehicle) and date the application / transaction was initiated.
