One of the benefits of OTA’s Next Generation program is the informal networking that happens inside and outside of the classroom. It’s clear the next generation of leaders know the advantage of networking – they do it all of the time. But do they know how to network? Sounds easy, but it’s not. Networking to achieve great business results really is a skill – there are do’s and don’ts and it takes practise.
OTA’s LEAD Committee, a group of emerging leaders who are committed to engaging youth within the trucking industry, invite you to listen, engage and participate in this highly informative and interactive networking session, “Next Gen Connections.” The event will take place at OTA’s 90th Executive Conference on November 9 at the Ritz Carlton Toronto. The session will be led by Brenda Allen from Davis Pier Consulting.
The event will also launch the LEAD Committee’s new Business Leader’s Certificate program with the Schulich School of Business, set to debut in early 2017. The program will focus on developing innovative thinking practices and creating innovation strategies in your work place. The program will build off of OTA’s highly successful Next Generation Certificate program.
For the price of $75, participants will gain valuable networking opportunities with industry peers, and develop contacts that can help make the difference for your business. Hurry though, availability for this special event is limited.
