The City of Windsor’s Transportation Planning Division has initiated a Truck Route Study to review the current truck route network through both a technical and engagement-focused process. The study will recommend updates to the truck route network through a series of consultations involving the goods movement community and the public.
The study will look to recommend an updated truck route that better meets the needs of both residents and stakeholders, so that goods can be moved safely and efficiently while also supporting economic activity. The initial phase of the study will also identify issues, needs and potential opportunities that will help guide the development of the revised truck route study over the next several months.
Additional information about the truck route study, including upcoming engagement opportunities can be found at https://letstalk.citywindsor.ca/truck-route-study. A link to an online survey and mapping activity will also be available as of November 2.
If you would like to be part of the feedback process OTA will be engaged in, please contact truckroute@ontruck.org.
