Carriers are being advised of these road closures as it may have a direct impact on services. Under no circumstances will any vehicles or pedestrians be permitted on, or have right of way across, the race roadways. This may impact your capacity to deliver services, receive persons, clients, customers or materials or otherwise affect your own transportation routes, police say.
“We are suggesting to all commercial and public service agencies that they avoid the areas indicated on the dates and times specified. It is also suggested that you advise your clients or third parties with whom you are associated with about the closures. TO2015 (Pan Am Games organizer), the Region of Halton and the Towns of Milton and Oakville will be issuing public information notices and electronic signs will be placed in strategic positions on roadways approaching the affected areas in the weeks and days prior to the events.”
